Hallmark Construction Completes Renovations at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa

Northern California’s leading general contractor, Hallmark Construction, has completed luxurious renovations at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa.

Monterey, California – December 21, 2010 – Hallmark Construction announced today that it has completed upgrades at Monterey’s premier hotel, the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa. Closing another chapter in a series of extensive hotel renovations, Hallmark Construction performed several interior and exterior upgrades. Hallmark’s extensive experience in tenant improvements and renowned craftsmanship were integral to installing luxurious marble furnishings, beautiful glass mosaic tile and several exterior renovations. “Hallmark’s service and craftsmanship is top notch,” said Brad Duvernay, Hyatt’s Director of Engineering. “The product they delivered met and even exceeded our standards,” he continued. Hallmark’s broad experience in large multi-unit housing, including hotel facilities, proved invaluable in the project’s success.

Because of a project’s proximity to the popular Knuckles Historical Sports Bar and a large ballroom hosting numerous events, Hyatt asked Hallmark to minimize the impact of construction activities on hotel guests and operations. “At Hallmark Construction, serving customers’ needs is the priority,” said Hallmark’s Superintendent, David Scott. He added, “Great customer service is what we call ‘The Three C’s of Construction’: Communication, Consideration, and Cooperation.” With decades of experience working in occupied spaces, Hallmark was successful in meeting Hyatt’s needs while adding another touch of elegance at Monterey’s premier hotel.

Hallmark Construction is one of Northern California’s leading contractors, with a well-earned reputation for quality, integrity, and client loyalty. Hallmark’s specialties include new building construction (including design-build services), tenant improvements, technology sector construction, sustainable “green” building, and more. Currently, Hallmark manages projects throughout Northern California while operating from its Santa Clara headquarters and its satellite office in Pacific Grove, outside of Monterey.

Multi-million dollar renovations at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa on Del Monte Golf Course elevate Monterey's largest luxury conference hotel to a new plateau of excellence. A spacious new lobby invites relaxation with a soothing fireplace and cozy seating areas - perfect for conversations or listening to live jazz. Restyled accommodations in the pampering Monterey hotel redefine luxury with patios, flat screen TVs, walk-in rain showers and more. Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa is pleased to announce the opening of Accista Spa, the hotel's $6.5 million luxury spa. Positioned to become the ultimate destination sanctuary on the Monterey Peninsula, the 12,000SF spa draws inspiration from the surrounding vibrant natural landscape, local history, and biological rhythms of the changing seasons, to present a warm, restful ambiance and indigenously-inspired treatments that capture the essence of Monterey.
